Content Policy for Medical Illustration

This Content Policy explains what you may and may not create, upload, or share through Medical Illustration at medicalillustration.app.

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

Introduction

Medical Illustration is designed for legitimate medical, educational, and scientific illustration. This policy exists to protect users, patients, institutions, and the public from harmful, misleading, or abusive content.

You must follow this policy whenever you use Medical Illustration, including when entering prompts, uploading source materials, generating images, or sharing outputs.

1. Acceptable Use

You may use Medical Illustration for lawful and responsible purposes such as medical illustration, anatomy education, patient communication, research visuals, classroom materials, scientific publishing support, and healthcare marketing that is accurate and not misleading.

Content should be created in good faith and should not misrepresent medical facts, professional credentials, or real-world outcomes.

2. Prohibited Content

You may not use Medical Illustration to create, upload, request, or distribute content that includes any of the following:

  • Sexual, pornographic, or exploitative material
  • Gratuitous violence, gore, or abuse that is not necessary for a legitimate medical, educational, or scientific purpose
  • Instructions or materials intended to harm people, animals, property, or systems
  • False, deceptive, or dangerously misleading medical information
  • Deepfakes, impersonations, or synthetic portrayals of real people without authorization
  • Harassment, hate, threats, or discriminatory abuse
  • Content that violates privacy, confidentiality, or intellectual property rights
  • Malware, fraud, scams, or attempts to bypass platform safeguards

3. Sensitive Medical Content

Because Medical Illustration supports healthcare and scientific communication, some sensitive anatomical, surgical, or pathology-related content may be permitted when it serves a legitimate educational, clinical communication, or scientific purpose.

Even in those cases, content must remain factual, respectful, and non-exploitative.

4. Content Moderation

We may use automated systems, human review, or both to detect and address policy violations. We may block prompts, limit generation, remove content, request additional review, or restrict account access when we believe a user or piece of content creates legal, safety, or trust concerns.

We are not required to publish or retain any content that we believe violates this policy or creates risk for Medical Illustration or others.

5. Reporting Violations

If you believe content or activity on Medical Illustration violates this policy, please report it to support@medicalillustration.app. Include a description of the issue, relevant links or screenshots, and any other information that will help us investigate.

6. Consequences of Violations

Depending on the severity and frequency of the violation, we may issue a warning, remove content, suspend features, terminate the account, deny refunds, or report conduct to payment providers, platform partners, or law enforcement when legally required.

Repeated or serious violations may result in immediate account termination.

7. Policy Updates

We may update this Content Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date on this page. Continued use of Medical Illustration after an update means you accept the revised policy.
